Meet our Pastor
Joe Manning
Pastor Joe is responsible for preaching and teaching, overseeing the church’s overall ministry, and supervising the staff. He has been the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church since 2009. Pastor Joe has served churches in Texas, Georgia, and Hawaii. He and his wife Gloria were married in 1975 and have two grown daughters, and two grandsons.
Pastor Joe has authored one book, “Critical Thinking and Defending the Biblical Worldview.” He is also a member of the Scholar’s Community for Reasons to Believe Ministry.
Pastor Joe is a retired submarine sailor and serves as a volunteer tour guide at the U.S.S. Razorback, a World War II submarine moored on the Arkansas River in North Little Rock.
